Tania Yates
Health & Wellness Coach
Tania Yates is a highly qualified and experienced coach with over two decades of expertise in coaching and development. She began her career specialising in sales team and leadership coaching and development and expanded her practice in 2018 to include health and wellness. This shift was inspired by her observations of the growing number of individuals facing particularly challenging situations and struggling with their mental health, and her desire to give back by helping them rebuild momentum and restore balance in their lives.
Tania’s personal experience competing in endurance sports has also profoundly shaped her approach to resilience and wellbeing coaching. Representing Australia at the World Age Triathlon Championships at age 40, she developed valuable insights into mental toughness, physical resilience, and balance—principles she brings to her coaching. Using evidence-based practices like mindfulness, ACT, and cognitive behavioural coaching, along with her knowledge gaining through completing a Master’s in Coaching, Tania empowers clients to overcome challenges and thrive in many areas of life.
Having also spent eight years as a leader at various levels within organisation, some of which was in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, Tania deeply understands the challenges of achieving balance and resilience in demanding roles. This firsthand knowledge allows her to connect with clients on a personal level and guide them toward meaningful change.
Tania’s is also a qualified personal trainer and when she’s not coaching or training others, she enjoys long ocean swims, surfing, skiing, cooking, the odd social triathlon (still) and getting out on nature-based travel adventures with her family.
